HIV AIDS Porn and Circumcision - Revisited

Two years ago this month, I posted my thoughts on the HIV scare in the porn industry.

It generated lots of attention in the blogosphere and some heated exchanges - even among those who claimed to have medical backgrounds but could still not account for why Africa had such a high HIV rate compared to us. These "doctors" also couldn't explain the higher infection rates among African-Americans here in the U.S.

Some put forth the implausible arguments that it was simply a different strain of HIV that somehow/magically never managed to take a foothold in North America.

Others suggested that there was genetic component that somehow made Africans (and African-Americans) more susceptible to HIV infection (much like Sickle-Cell Anemia, etc.)

We may now have the answer.

It is fascinating to revisit the comments/debate in the original post in light of this new information.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION AND THE CAIR CONNECTION

A disturbing trend is developing that nobody in the media has seemingly picked up on yet.

CAIR, a militant organization that supports radical Islamic thought and terror groups is increasingly inserting itself into the recent debate over border enforcement.

Item 1 - CAIR supporter demonstrating against the Minutemen in Chicago, with the local CAIR chapter actively pressuring officials there.

Item 2 - A member of KFI's news department informed me that members from the Los Angeles chapter of CAIR were notably seen at the march in downtown Los Angeles in favor of (illegal) immigrant rights (which also necessarily implies less border enforcement). [The KFI news staff was easily able to to spot a CAIR spokeswoman since the station has dealt with them extensively in the past.]

Question: Given the fact that the recent immigration protests have been overwhelmingly Latino in nature and have not developed into a broader coalition of immigrants (Asians, Africans, Canadians, Europeans, and Middle Easterers in this country), why is an "Islamic Civil Rights" group so interested in what our policy is in enforcing our southern border?....

It could be reading too much into things, but its still something to keep an eye on.

Hitler Would Be At Home In The U.N.

Iran has been elected to a vice-chair position on the U.N. Disarmament Commission

Astonishing, but not surprising.

If Hitler were alive today, the U.N. would appoint him their Human Rights Commission Reich Chair.
