The Billion Problems of the Press

It seems that the difference between the word "millions" and "billions" is one of the most common (yet significant) typos that the press keeps repeating in many of their stories.

I realize that the "b" key is only two keys away from the "m" key on most standard keyboards - but the mistake causes such a significant change in a story that the press ought to be more careful when using either term to make sure they get it right.
