David Frum is again out in front on the Miers opposition.
He also has importatnt agruments as to why we can't afford to wait for the Senate hearings.
Frum is a brave man who deserves our thanks. I for one will galdly sign his proposed petition.
As many know, Frum was instrumental in including the "axis of evil" passage of Bush's now famous speech.
As a hat-tip to Mr. Frum, I will pay homage to his speechwriting by paraphasing the notable words he inspired:
"Hugh Hewitt, James Dobson, Ed Gillispie. People like these, and their 'yes-men' allies, constitute an Axis of Appeasement, aiming to threaten the hard fought gains of the past years. By seeking appeasment with those who disdain judicial textualism, these people pose a grave and growing danger to the notion of textualist jurisprudence."
