Now I ask you: Is this anyway to run a war on terrorism???
On the one hand, I'm glad that a senior Taliban commander was killed.
On the other hand, what the f**k was the U.S. military thinking in releasing this guy from Guantanamo Bay in the first place??!!! What if he had managed to kill more American troops? (How do we know that he didn't?) Was it a case of the U.S. cow-towing to the Red-Cross/U.N.-loving appeasers of the world in releasing him?
Who else have we released? How many of them are now gearing up to kill our troops?

If the militray is serious about this war, then it shouldn't be releasing anyone it even remotely suspects has ties to the Taliban...ever! People like this should have been given the firing squad some time ago.
If people manage to lose faith in Bush, it will be because of stories like this.

What I might do is try to insert some sort of tracking device without these folks' knowledge to try to track them back to their meeting places.
Then again, the ACLU would be all up on us for that, even if fighting a war is different from what we do back here.

Just make sure you socument everything with tons of evidence, so none of the terror apologists have a leg to stand on.
