BFL Headlines

With a bit of jerryrigging, I now have the Headline roll to the side expanded to more than 30 blogs. 31 of the 50 Bear Flag members are on it. I have some emails out to people who I think I can get on it easily enough and who I am certain are not on it.

If you are not showing up in the headline roll and you want to show up in the headline roll, email me with your RSS feed.

If you used to show up and you have dropped off, holler.

With this administrative glitch corrected, I am now taking new BFL members again. Get your requests in.

Heh. I happen to be in need of someone who can help me set up an RSS feed on the new Expression Engine incarnation of blogoSFERICS.

When I get to that point, obviously I'll want on.

I have this thing so jerryrigged that, if I don't add people regularly, I'll forget how.

Alright, I've been floating on my own for awhile on BSL, and I'm the least tech. savvy of the three of us who started the site, so I guess what I'm saying is I really want to feature Belowstreetlevel on the headline roll, but have no idea how to do it. Can you help?

Creating an RSS feed is one of those things I don't do regularly so I have forgotten how. I may never have known. I didn't create this site's feed. That was Dean and I can't recall if I created my blogspot one on my own.

I saying all this here so someone who knows how can let you know.

We'd like to be added to the headline roll but, first, a question: what is RSS?

Once, for about 5 minutes, I knew what RSS stood for. It serves the same function here as the XML and it's basically a feed that will roll into various readers and news aggregators. You're on blogspot and all they have on the free service is ATOM so look for the help screens on that. Let me know when you have set it up. I can find it after that.
