Good news, bad news

A public defender punched by his client was allowed to withdraw but a second public defender who refused to become the new punching bag attorney was held in contempt and jailed.

I'm not much of a lawyer fan. In fact, there are quite a few whom I'd like to pummel, but it would take a REALLY bad situation to get me to even think about punching a lawyer that was defending me. Though, if the guy is guilty, he probably doesn't have much to lose.

When I saw your commentary ("a second public defender who refused to become the new punching bag attorney was held in contempt and jailed."), I said to myself, "Let this be a SPOOF!"

Totally UNREAL!

A judge that crazy is crazy enough to give the scumbag defendant the mistrial he was aiming for in his assault on his attorney!
