Amanda was convinced it was an accident. Then I showed her the picture of Janet was "wearing" underneath and she changed her mind and decided it must have been planned. Conversely, I now believe the "wardrobe accident" since the fuller explanation is that the leather was supposed to come away and a red lace bustier was suposed to stay. Only problem is that the nipple ring under a strip of red lace is only slightly less shocking. For more coverage, check out Blogcritics.

Just a suggestion.

Surprisingly clear pictures are here: http://www.drudgereport.com/mattjj.htm
The lace bustier peeks out from the other side. I can't tell how revealing it is but to me "lace" means see-through.
Posted by: Justene at February 3, 2004 02:12 PM (Permalink)It was planned.
Janet spaced it, and forgot to wear the bustier.
Posted by: Alan Kellogg at February 3, 2004 04:53 PM (Permalink)On the video, when both the leather and the lace came away, Janet's initial reaction was to refrain from covering up.
If that were your breast, wouldn't you have known right away it was suddenly hanging out there uncovered?
Posted by: McGehee at February 4, 2004 07:14 AM (Permalink)How did my breast enter this conversation?
Never mind. I did consider that. There are two ways I think one would notice the sudden bare breast. 1. temperature and 2. texture.
If she was expecting a lace bustier under it, and expecting the leather to come off, the sudden coolness would be consistent with a lace bustier and might not cause an immediate reaction.
As for texture, there was what looked to be a large and heavy nipple ring still against her skin. So the texture change would not have been noticeable. The area not covered by the ring would have been less sensitive.
So there's my explanation for at least why I find the "accident" plausible.
Posted by: Justene at February 4, 2004 01:58 PM (Permalink)Of course it was planned! It's Janet Jackson! She figured there must be at least a few men recent immigrants perhaps, who haven't seen her tit! She's got no career, is losing lime-light to her notorious brother, and she didn't leap to cover herself up. If it had been an accident, she'd be blaming the costumer.
