It seems Ahnold's nuts are not falling far from the family tree; finding humor in people who are different.

Interesting EC...no mention of Cruz's RACIST ties (MEChA) and the 'n' bomb he dropped. But nah, a guy makes fun of a liberal hack like Cruz and he's now branded a Hitler.

The comment might also be a reflection of Mike Murphy's addition to the campaign team. It's not exactly demonizing. It's more of a kind of teasing that implies that Bustamante should not be taken seriously.

The point of the joke was not so much to harp on Mr. N-Word's appearance per se, as it was to underscore his similarity to Davis in every manner except physical appearance. That, along with the fact that Gray Davis has never joined an organization advocating that California be given back to Mexico (assuming Mexico would still take it).

I'm sure McClintock could have Ahnold's muscles if he was willing to inject roids into his ass every morning after he woke up.
I am just waiting to see if "roid rage" comes into play if Ahnold comes under fire during the debates (if he bothers to show up to them).

Well, democratic elections are lively, messy, crude affairs, and I'm not sure we need to place boundaries on what constitutes acceptable political discourse. I think the larger point Schwarzenegger was making was that Bustamante is really no different that Davis on the issues, that the only difference is their appearance. I guess Schwarzegger could used some other trivial distinction to make the same point (short and fat vs. tall and thin, white v. latino, glutton v. ascetic) but then some folks would inevitably get on their high horse and start talking about appropriate political speech.
Yah, whatever. This too shall be forgotten in a day or two, and we'll be on to the next big thing. And for those of you on the high horse, have a great ride.
